According to a book I read some of the new TV's have a button to switch the subtitles from English to Japanese.Kendama=wooden stick and ball Kendama is a wooden toy consisting of a wooden stick with one end sharpened, the other end shaped like a dish, and a ball with a hole in it connected to the stick by string. The object is to balance the ball on the dish part and to stick it on the sharp end of the stick.
Tako-kite Tako in Japanese means kite. Most Takos are like square-shaped paper, on which Japan's historical heroes or characters are painted.
Sense of honor
